SpeakUp Groups
Speaking up
Our SpeakUp groups discuss issues that matter to them.
They talk about everything from local news and services to things that affect people with a learning disability all over the UK.
Members of the group help each other out and make friendships.
We run monthly SpeakUp groups in Worcester, Malvern, Droitwich and Redditch.
We also visit day opportunities, colleges and other organisations across Worcestershire to run regular pop-up groups.
Contact Hanna for more information about coming to a group or us visiting your organisation.

Update
At SpeakEasy N.O.W., we are dedicated to empowering individuals with learning disabilities across Worcestershire through our dynamic pop-up and ‘SpeakUp’ groups. Recently, we have proudly supported the Anti-Bullying Alliance’s campaign, engaging our members in vital conversations about tackling bullying and understanding hate crime.
In the past month, our team has actively visited schools and colleges, delivering impactful sessions on anti-bullying. We focused on educating students with learning disabilities about the nuances of bullying, helping them recognize its effects, and equipping them with healthy coping strategies.
As we look forward to the New Year, we have an exciting lineup of new topics planned, designed to further support and uplift our community. We warmly invite anyone interested to join one of our groups and be part of these important discussions. Together, we can create a safer, more inclusive environment for everyone. Join us in making a difference!
