On Thursday 26th February 2026 SpeakEasy N.O.W. member Sam attended a Worcestershire County Council Meeting, to ask Councillors to allow people with a learning disability to use their bus passes before 9.30am. You can read Sam’s question to the Council here.

This has been a really important issue for members for a long time. Not being able to use passes before 9.30am limits independence and the ability to get to work, volunteering, appointments and take part in other activities. Other areas have changed this so bus passes can be used any time of day, so we hope that Worcestershire will do the same.
